Picture

Picture
Started this half sleeve on my friend Justin the other day. I'm really enjoying how its turning out so far. Much more to go!
Picture

Picture
Nothing to epic here, just a fun little walk-in I did a bit ago and nice young lady.
Picture
Nate came back and was kind enough to let me get a healed photo of the Reaper head I did on him some many months ago. Thanks again Nate!
Picture
Tattooed this on an old client I haven't seen since I first started tattooing. He found me a few months back and wanted me to do a koi on his arm. I was happy to do so. Thanks again, Daniel this was fun!
Picture
Tattooed this on a women that came all the way from Georgia to get tattooed with her boyfriend. I was very humbled to find this out. She didn't enjoy getting tattooed all that much but she loved the finished product, as do I.
Picture
I did this painting for the show "The brush strikes back" at my friend Ric Cardenas' shop 12 Monkey's Tattoo down in Tracey. This one is for sale. If you would like to purchase it send me an e-mail.
Picture
I tattooed this on a friend of mine that I tattooed a sleeve on a while back. He came up with his wife, whom I also tattoo and took her spot for the second day she had scheduled. I really had a lot of fun tattooing this piece, as I don't get asked to tattoo portraits very often. Thanks again Joe, this was fun!
Picture
Did this painting a while back. I had a lot of fun working on this and learned a lot. It is currently not for sale, but if I do decide to sale it, you fine folks will be the first to know.

Picture
Just a silly lil' tat jam on one of my regular clients.
Picture
Did this on a walk-in in between appointments the other day. Tattooed this image off of a Black metal album cover the young dude brought in with him. Super fun tat!
Picture
Tattooed this on my good buddy and one of my favorite people Rick, the other day. Good times!
Picture
On my main man Keith. The Metal man!
Picture
Fun, simple, to the point. Fun Jam's!
Picture
Paint Jam in between Tats!
Picture
For the hipster's running around yelling "YOLO" What, you all thought we lived more than once?
Picture
For my friend Steve. Yeah, you can say he party's!
Picture
A girl head for my friend Shannon.
Picture
A little wolf for my friend Tim. Thanks man!
Picture
Some script I did on a old client.
Picture
Got a healed photo of this Pirate chick I did a while ago on my friend Lee. Healed nice if I don't say so myself.
Picture
A super folksy Eagle i did on my friend Cory a while back. Had a lot of fun doing this Jammer. Her leg is coming around quite nice and I hope to put a few more fun ones on her before she has to report for A school in a few weeks! Good Times Cory!
Picture
Fun party Tat on my friend from college way back when I was living in New Mexico. Did this one while I was out in San Antonio doing a guest spot at Element Tattoo. Good Times there!
Picture
The party tats continued. One for this gentlemen's kids.
Picture
Did this on my German friend Ti. He was doing a guest spot the same week I was in San Antonio. He picked this one out of my sketch book. Good Times!
Picture
A little party tat on a nice older women that wanted something 'not girly'. After bouncing some ideas around we came up with this. Good times!
Picture
A very fun lil' walk-in I did a while ago on a very nice young lady
Picture
Tattooed this on my buddy Mike a while back. A very simple and straight to the point tattoo that I really enjoyed doing. Thanks again Mike!

Picture
Tattooed this on a really interesting young man the other day that wanted a stick and poke tattoo covered up. This is what we agreed upon. A classic image of a skull and snake with flames. Basic, simple and straight to the point.
Picture
Did this artichoke on my friend Allie the other day. I really enjoyed tattooing this one (and the mer-pig I did on Bradon below) because I have had a lot of request to do a bit of black and grey lately (which I don't mind doing and really enjoy) However, it was nice to switch it up a bit and do something color. Thanks again Allie.
Picture
Did this Mer-pig on my friend Brandon the other day. He came in a with a request of doing something traditional, but not of any particular traditional image, instead a mix of images with a traditional spin. This is what I came up with.
Picture
So this here tattoo is on a good friend of mine and one of my favorite people, Chris. They moved to Arizona a while back and came for a visit and during are time visiting, tattooing came up. This tattoo is for his lady and has personal meaning to them both. I really enjoy tattooing silly imagery, because well not all tattoos need to have some deep seeded emotional meaning to them, but in this case it has both, which I'm stoked to do. I know them both well and this just fits their personality. A rubber chicken on the phone is just good stuff! thanks again Chris, it was good to see you and Jaimi both!
Picture
And the rubber chicken on the phone all stretched out!
Picture
Tattooed this on Zach as well (below) a while back and forgot my camera the day I tattooed it. He was kind enough to come in a get another tattoo and let me get a healed photo of the shark I did. Thanks again Zach.
Picture
Another Eagle on my friend Zach. He really just wanted a filler piece of an Eagle and this is what I gave him. He was stoked on it and I was happy to tattoo another eagle, because well, they're so iconic and bad-ass looking.
Picture
Tattooed this Pega-corn on a young lady the other day. I really weird idea, but I had fun doing it.
Picture
Another fun one on the homie Thomas. Really straight forward tattoo here that was just really super fun to tattoo. Thanks again Thomas.
Picture
Tattooed this piece a little bit ago and just wanted to get a quick pic of it before he had to run out the door. I had a lot of fun tattooing this one and hope he comes in a few weeks to let me see how it healed. I love tattooing sexy girls with tattoos, so if your interested, cruise into the shop and pick one out of my book and lets get tattooing!
Picture
Tattooed this a while back on a young man and he was kind enough to come back and let me get a healed photo of it. Pretty straight forward piece here. Thanks again Joey.
Picture
Cory's back for more, only this time we moved to the arm. I had a cancellation and called her to see if she would like to get in and like a great pal she was down. We came up with this piece that is simple and straight to the point. I took this picture a few days after she got it tattooed, and have seen it recently and it is healing beautifully. Thank you again Cory for another fun one!
Picture
Did this Tattoo on my good buddy Dash a while back. I did a little painting of in a few days before posted it on a well known social media site and he said he would love to get it tattooed. That was that. Glad I could tattoo it, this was so much fun and he sat like a rock!

Picture
Did this tattoo a bit ago on a really nice fellow! I really enjoy tattooing really fun and cool images on really nice and fun people that I just click with (not to say I don't always click with all of my clients, but some I click with more) Anyways he originally came in just wanting a few names on his arm for his kids and instead got this. I'm glad he did as I feel this is a much more full and complete tattoo. Thanks again Lee!
Picture
A little Jammer to end the night the other night. Thanks Cale, this was fun!
Picture
1 of 2 Sheets that I am going to trade with a Solid Tattooer I know and one of my favorite people Ric Cardenas. Hope you dig it Ric! You can find Ric at 12 Monkey Tattoo Studio in Tracy Ca.
Picture
Did this tattoo on a friend of mine's mom a little while ago. She came in a few days later and let me get a photo of her tattoo as it was healing. This was her first tattoo and she decided to get the name of her beloved Wes to commemorate 35 years of marriage to him. I was honored to do it. And she sat like a rock!
Picture
Did this little paint jammer the other day during Arts Alive. Had a lot of fun painting this little guy!
Picture
Did these butterflies a little over a week ago on a young lady that wanted something to represent her and her two children. I thought this was a nice, simple and clean tattoo to do the idea justice.
Picture
Got a healed photo of this piece I did a while back on my friend Thomas. A little touch-up is needed but nothing major. Thanks again, Thomas on to the next tattoo! (the tattoo next to him is credited to a Ryan Hopper, of Newport Tattoo in Newport Ca.)
Picture
Did this on a friend of mine Dash a month or so ago. He came back in a let me get a healed photo if it about a week or so ago. It's a beach in bottle, that he just came in a I randomly had an opening and he wanted to get tattooed. I couldn't be happier with how the tattoo came out, other than the funny angle when taking a photo of it. Thanks again Dash!
Picture
I dont usually post up coming projects in the sketch format, but I have to say I'm very excited about this one. This is a piece that will wrap around the whole body of one of my clients. Starting at the side of her right hip and going up around and in between her chest. I think that with this tattoo the client will be wearing the tattoo well, as opposed to the tattoo wearing her as some tattoos do in some cases.
Picture
Did this Cock-a-la Mucha on my friend Jen from art school. I really had a great time tattooing this piece and I know she had a great time as well (well at least I think she did) Thanks again Jen, this was too much fun!
Picture
A side of the hand tattoo. I really am against tattooing the side of the hand (or the hand in general) however, there are some people out there that get a bit of a break. People that already have a good portion of their body tattooed or people that are fairly older and set in their career and/or life. This little piece mean "forgive me mother" in Spanish. I did this job one a very nice young gentlemen that came in and wanted this tattoo, I read him the riot act of getting his hands tattooed and he said he was well aware and appreciated that I was concerned, but that he wanted the tattoo on the hand nonetheless. I can't argue with that.
Picture
Did this little dagger on a good friend of mine and one of my favorite people, Ande. Did this the same day I tattooed her knuckles. I'll be getting a healed photo of it soon. Thanks again Ande, this was fun!
Picture
Straight forward tattoo here, when it's time to get the hell out of the bar, it's last call time folks! I did this on my friend Ande.
Picture
Pretty straight forward tattoo here. I don't take hand tattoos lightly, however you must know that this women already had her hands tattooed, so to say no to something on the knuckles is a little difficult.
Picture
Tattooed this Lady justice piece a few weeks back on a client I had down for a half day of work. He originally had a half day scheduled to work on a on going sleeve, but we just couldn't come up with some ideas for the empty spots that are left to fill on his arm and I didn't want to jump into anything we both wouldn't be proud to have on ourselves. So in the mean time, we decided to go with a piece that he had been wanting for some time. Hence, Lady Justice. I had a great time tattooing this piece and I can only hope he was stoked on it too (he did seem to think it was sweet!)

Picture
Did this Buddhist Chola hand on my friend Cory the other day. I have to say this was one of those tattoos I just lost myself in and really enjoyed tattooing, not to say I don't enjoy tattooing all the things my clients bring me, but this one was just super fun! Maybe it was all the wise ass jokes her and I say to each other that made this tattoo extra fun? I don't know. But anyways, thank you again Cory, on to the next one!
Picture
Did this the other day on a good friend of mine (took the photo a day or two after, hence the crusty). He wanted something a little different, but along the same lines as a few other previous tattoos I have done (the, "yeah, I party!" tattoos I have done on a few other mutual friends) Anyways, he wanted his to be a bit more punk rock and a little more, well, fucked up! This is what we both came up with. Tattoos on the hand and all. Thank you Nick, I had a blast tattooing this one!
Picture
Did this piece a few days ago. Pretty straight forward. I had a lot of fun tattooing this one.
Picture
Did this piece on a friend of mine. He is taking off and leaving Humboldt to move down to his son, in So. Cal and wanted something to remind him of his time in the Redwood Curtain. Best wishes man! and thank you for letting me tattoo such a fun tattoo on you.
Picture
Did this piece a while ago on a really very nice young man. It's from the book "where the wild things are" and so to keep true to the image of the book I washed out my colored quite a bit (hence, the faded look). I normally don't do tattoos like this, but this was a fun tattoo to do. It wasn't straight from the book as he wanted me to tie in elements from three different pages to make his tattoo, but I think they worked out well. Thank you again Erich for trusting me with a bit of a challenge.
Picture
Nothing epic here, just a fun lil' walk-in I did. She asked for a black bird and this is what I came up with.
Picture
Did this lil' hand jammer on a regular of the shop. I did both of his hands and filled in some spots on his arm, but didn't end up taking pictures of those. I thought this one was a lot of fun to tattoo and was just cool in general. Thanks again, Travis!
Picture
Did this fun lil' walk-in the other day. She said "I wan't a skull, and make it hella cute!" This is what I came up with. Hopefully, it's as cute as a skull in my style can get.
Picture
Did this on a client of mine from Crescent City. I have been working on a sleeve on him, but as it were; when he came down he hadn't really thought of what to do inside a few open areas on the arm that we were going to fill in that day. I had about an hours worth of work on him to finish what I started, but he had booked me for half of a day. Long story short, he had been checking out this chola for some time and decided that he would get this for the day and we work on his sleeve the next time. I wasn't going to complain. I really enjoyed doing this tattoo, and glad it went on someone that really enjoyed the art. Thanks again Cory it was fun!

Picture
So the outside of Daniel's 1/2 Sleeve is done, and I have to say I'm pretty pumped about this one. A very kind of serene type of tattoo I feel, and we finished it in 2 sessions! Thanks again Daniel, this was a lot of fun!
Picture
So the outside of Jon's 7/10 sleeve is done (or I think so?) I might add some other touches here and there to give it something more, but for now here it is. The inside of his arm is next and I think it will tie in nicely with the ghost story theme we have going on here. Thank you Jon for driving all this way to get tattooed!
Picture
Will is back up from So. Cal and we did this on him. I added the dragon around the Oni I lined out more than a year ago now. We got a lot done on this one and I figure we have 2 more sessions to go, but I'm really excited about this one. Thanks Will!
Picture
So while I was visiting with my old Boss Carl, this young man walked in and wanted to get tattooed, Carl having an appointment coming in refereed him to me, what a classy guy! Anyways, a pretty straight forward tattoo to pay tribute to the young man's grandmother.
Picture
Another really fun walk-in I did on a friend of a friend. Mikey came in wanting something tattooed, he didn't know what he wanted. So I broke out my sketch book and he picked this design. More people should do this I feel, it keeps tattooing fresh and exciting. Thank you Mikey!
Picture
Finished Nate's Calf the other day. Will be getting better healed photo's of this piece in a few weeks or so. Good times as always Nate!
Picture
Did this a few weeks back as well. A very fun walk-in that I did on a buddy of mine who was helping out another buddy of mine that has a show a few doors down from the shop. If you are in Old Town and want to see some really fun and exciting art, check out "the Black Fawn" Art Gallery. My Buddy, Chris Hitchock has show there that is based on the works of native american imagery. Good stuff!
Picture
This is a start of a rather large floral leg piece that I started a while back. It's going to be mostly of roses and ferns and maybe some bugs and such. Should be very fun. Color to come next as well as add the bottom fern, then on up the thigh.

Picture
I am always happy to have clients come back and let me see the healed versions of there tattoos. I haven't seen this young lady in a while and was wondering how she was and how he tattooed healed, so I called and inquired and found out that she had a rather serious surgery that almost killed her. I am happy to report that she well and on the mend! So in a few months or so she plans on getting back into the studio for more tattoos, but for now is taking it easy, which I completely understand. Thank you again!
Picture
Did this little jammer on a fella the other day to fill in some spots he has left on his left arm. He wants some other little work to complete this arm and then we're on to the the right arm for some more black and grey traditional imagery, can't wait! on and in case you were wondering why the wing looks a little off, it's because it's in the ditch of the arm.
Picture
Did this little tattoo on a great friend of mine the other day. Pretty straight forward on the imagery, just like I like my tattoos to look. We'll be getting a healed photo soon.
Picture
On the same friend as above. Did this about a year ago (I think?) Good times Rick!
Picture
And this is the healed photo of the squaw I did on my friend Cory. We have plans for some more fun work a little ways down the road that I'm really excited about. Thanks again Cory!
Picture
On Cory as well. Did this one about a year and half ago I believe now. Cory has great skin and she heals her tattoos really well. I did touch up a little bit her and there when I tattooed the squaw on her, but all in all the tattooed healed great!
Picture
Cover up of some turd! This was a cover-up of a cover-up.
Picture
And it's gone!
Picture
A little more challenging of a cover-up.
Picture
So this one might need one more pass on the bottom, but I think it's a nice tattoo still. This was actually a cover up of a cover-up. Good times!

Picture
Drew this one right on. Had fun tattooing this on. It'll lighten up quite a bit when it heals, and I can't wait to see it when it does. Thanks Sam for your trust! Oh and this is a cover-up as well.
Picture
Drawing it on! Another fun walk-in. Keep it coming folks!
Picture
Another really fun walk-in. Seems as though native american imagery is on the rise with some folks, which quite alright in my book!
Picture
On my friend Nate. He came in last Saturday and wanted a "Jammer" I'm thinking something small. We start to discuss what it is what he would like and as he says "I don't know" turns around in my station and ask's if this drawing is taken, I say that it is not and wham! here we are. That ladies and gents is how you get tattooed! One more session to go on this one. Thanks again Nate for your sudden urges for tattoo's!
Picture
I'll have better photos up after it's finished, just wanted to share right now.
Picture
Hopefully I'll get healed photos soon. Thanks again Jacob, this was too much fun!
Picture
Another cover-up. I forgot to get a before-before picture, but you get the idea.
Picture
Cover-up on Alex. I think we might need one more pass on this, but as of now I think we're about done. Thank you Alex, I know I'm not a gentle tattooer; thanks for sitting through the pain.
Picture
A reminder of what I covered up.
Picture
A page from one of my watercolor books, for those people that want to get tattooed, but simply don't know what they want.
Picture
A little paint jammer I did in between appointments. This piece is for sale (already matted and framed). Let me know through e-mail.
Picture
Tattooed this on a friend of mine a few weeks back. I'll have a healed photo soon I hope. This was a lot of fun, I mean an anchor and poppies - just stoked to the core about this one.
Picture
Did this little tattoo on a good friend of mine, Cory. I really enjoy doing lady's and this just seemed to come out without any effort. This doesn't always happen mind you! Anyways, I took this photo a few days after I tattooed it, I'll take a healed one in a few days or so. Thanks Cory!
Picture
Did some painting for a show I have going on this month at a local beer bar we have up here. It is a tribute to the "unknown Tattooer" Ben Corday. I have since framed and matted them as well, but didn't take a photo of them all fancied up. If you are interested in purchasing any of them contact me through this here site.
Picture
Did this neck tattoo on an older women a while ago as well. And I have to say what a gangster! She sat better than most men when I'm tattooing their arms. I often refrain from tattooing necks, but I made an exception as she already had the other side of her neck tattooed. I really did enjoy tattooing this one!
Picture
This was a walk-in I did some time ago. And what fun was this piece! She sat great and was very open for interpretation and style on how to approach this tattoo. Thank you traveling girl, safe travels!

Picture
Finished Danny's sleeve up a while back, but I finally got him back into the shop for some healed photos of the mermaid/turtle sleeve. I have to say I'm rather proud of this piece and proud of Danny on how quick we finished this sleeve. It's dedicated client's like him that make my job not seem like a job. Thank you Danny, on to the next one!
Picture
Had fun with this piece. Dedicated to her father (a retired sailor). What better way to honor your dad than with an old fashioned Sailor Jerry influenced tattoo.
Picture
So a good friend of mine has been talking to me about this idea that he's had for some time of a fish ruler. He own's probably one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating in. Thus, the idea! The tattoo is of a king Salmon (which we have up here on the North Coast) but it's spine also doubles as a ruler. The fish as a whole is 8" the spine is 4" and the tail is 5 cm. Broken down into separate increments for measuring sushi and other things. I also added a 'J' hook above the fish so he had a marker marking at 1'. I really enjoy different idea's like this one and hope to tattoo more down the road.
Picture
Traditional Sailor Jerry Design. The "Aloha Monkey" is said that one day Jerry came into the shop and his pet monkey had been acting funny. What Jerry later discovered is the monkey had drank all of his black ink. Jerry then proceeded to beat the pet and when a random sailor walked in to get a tattoo, the monkey ran to the sailor and perched on his shoulder. The sailor not knowing what was going on asked Jerry what was up and right then the monkey threw up all over the sailor and Jerry told the young man to just take "that damn thing and get it the fuck out of here" Hence, the "aloha" monkey. Or so I'm told.
Picture
A fun little walk-in from the other day.

Picture
Working on a serious cover-up here. Had a request for a octopus of some sort and had artistic freedom and this is what I came up with. A long way to go still, but I thought I'd share the progression of this piece.
Picture
Here is the line work of the cover-up I'm working on.
Picture
Had Eddie come in for some healed photos of his 7/10 sleeve. Couldn't be happier with how this healed. Just wanted to post.
Picture
Some goes for Nate. Had him come in for some healed photos. He healed his sleeve great. Hopefully I'll be tattooing him soon.
Picture
An old school take on an old school plane. This is a P-17 bomber (I believe). Not much to say other than that is was super fun to tattoo this on a very fun and upbeat young lady who plans on getting a whole sleeve of planes on her arm. I can't wait, this was too much fun.
Picture
My first portrait. Well if you count the puppy I tattooed a few weeks ago as a portrait than I guess this would be number two, however this is my first human portrait. To say that I was nervous is an understatement. A portrait is something you can not screw up on. It has to be spot on and that is a lot of pressure on an artist especially and tattoo artist. I did this on the request of a gentlemen that wanted a joker tattoo. However, he did not want the typical joker but more of a court jester. After a few passes of drawing different jester(s) if just didn't flow. So I thought of something- a portrait of the "man who laughs". Some say this man was the inspiration for the character "the joker" in the widely popular Batman movies. I had a lot of fun tattooing this and hope for more portraits down the road.
