I had a cancellation today so I thought I'd paint something fun and BOLD! I'm really enjoying doing fast fun paintings like the one you see before you. And if you are interested in purchasing this or any of my paintings (if they aren't already gone or up in my station) let me know.

So I forgot to take a before picture (happens quite often these days, sorry) but, this gentlemen had the dragon head already there and wanted me to add on to it and make it into a bottom half sleeve. The first session was the body of the dragon (again forgot the picture) but this time I remembered and this is what we have so far. Most of the wind bars and clouds are done, just have a bit to go on them next session as well as color on the flames and cherry blossoms and a little tightening up of some color here and there. All in all, I am really enjoying how this is coming out and cannot wait to finish it up as there are some plans to go up the arm and make it into a full sleeve. Good times and mad crazy plans in the works! Thank you again JP, its always fun!

Sorry for the blurry photo, but ya can't win 'em all.

Did this fun lil' jammer on a fairly regular client, Noah. Noah usually just cruises in with an amount of money and say "what ya got drawn up?". I slammed this one out for him to add to his, what will be a half sleeve in the traditional style (think random images that are then filled in with dots and stars and the like). Always a good time Noah, cruise in soon for another!

I try and not stray away from tattooing to often and mix to much of my life into this here website, as I try to respect that, that is not why you look on my blog and to protect other person's personal privacy, but I just wanted to post a picture of myself and my oldest buddy and one of my favorite people (are other buddy couldn't make it down, from the Bay area). We grew up together and he still lives in the same house he grew up in, so going home I can always see and hang out with him and his beautiful wife and talk story. Truly one of the best men I know. Oh and if looks as though I was a little flustered, I just back from a surf, and I enjoyed a glass or two of wine with dinner.

Got a few thing colored in on this one. A mellow session on this one. I like going for a 3-4 hour session lately. Yes, it takes a bit longer to finish the tattoo, but the overall heal seems to work a little bit better for the client as well the tattoo (and not to mention my hand). Really starting to like the outcome of how this tattoo is starting to look. Thanks again T.J. see ya soon!

Got the top half of this sleeve done on Jon. Starting to come along really nicely I think. Smooth sailing on this one.

Tattooed this on the obnoxiously beautiful Renee Renfro. For those of you that are into Tuner Cars, she often models for the likes of that culture as well, is going to be launching her own website sometime next year; so keep your eye out for her (ReneeRenfro.com). Thank you again Renee for sitting like a champ (no joke 7 1/2 hours on this piece).

Tattooed this on my old friend Ryan while I was down south. Continued on his 'Gangster Sleeve' and he wanted a gangster ass car. This was a first for me and really fun to do! Thanks buddy, until next time!

On my buddy Cameron. He told me to do whatever I wanted to do on him, which I really do enjoy doing. So I threw this snake and dagger on him. A fun tattoo on a good friend from way back. Thanks Cam, it was fun tattooing ya!

A Valkyrie for Alex. Valkyrie's are the "Dark Angel's of Death" for Nordic warriors who die honorably on the field of battle. When a solider dies, it is said that these Angel's come down and asses if you died with honor and pride, if you did then you will be carried up to the Father (Odin) and live a lavish lifestyle filled with a grand fest and all the most beautiful virgin's you could ever wish for. Of course this is if you are of Norwegian ancestry, it would pertain to you. All in all a very fun tattoo to do!

On a friend of mine Cory for her brother who is currently serving in the middle east. Hope for a safe journey home and that "Time Fly's" for him over there on his first deployment. On a tattooing note: This was nothing but a fun tattoo to do-thank you Cory.

A nice session on my good buddy Matt. Worked in the shading on the outside of his arm. Nothing to crazy just taking it easy tattooing (mentally as well). The next session will be on the inside of the arm, should be a good time!

Really enjoying the outcome of the shading on the Pirate. The color will be bright in surrounding areas, but working with a more mature palette for the subject mature so they wont be fighting for attention. Hopefully it works.

Got the water all shaded in on this session. We'll finish in a few weeks. I'm starting to get really curious as to how this pans out. One last session, and some fine tuning and I think she'll be good as gold. Thanks again Eddie!

A fun walk-in. changed up the color just a bit. Opaque grey into the purple, I'm curious to see how it heals. Trying something different, but all-in-all, a fun tattoo.
