Worked on Stacie's back some more last week. It was a bit of a long session, but she sat great and really hung in there while I tattooed her. Next session we'll be on to the other feathers, hopefully finishing them up and onto the finishing up the flowers going up her back and onto her shoulder, then background. Should be fun!

Finished this piece on my friend Kenna. Had to up the chroma on the dress to put a little separation from the dress to skin tone. I really enjoyed tattooing this one, as it made me work pretty far outside of my usual tattoo subjects and/or way I draw tattoos. However I cannot take credit for drawing this piece as Alphonse Mucha originally drew it, I just did some slight adjustments to give it a bit more 'pop'. Hope you enjoy!

we discussed some possible background around the piece a few months down the road. Should make for a nice continuation on this piece.

Kind of speaks for itself. Just a fun piece to draw and paint. These can be tattooed so, if you would like it, come get you some!

"Uzi" inspired piece. By "Uzi" I mean Miguel Montgomery, a great tattooer who I have had the honor of meeting, but have not yet had the honor of getting tattooed by. Look him up if or when you have time. He tattoos out of great shop by the name of American Graffiti.

Kind of into doing some more "cryptic" work in the traditional aspect. Really enjoying working with a lot of different color schemes.

Started this on Joe the other day. quite a long session. He wanted to combine his heritage of Irish and Indian as well as not completely cover up the arm band that he and his wife had got while over in Hawaii some 14 or so years ago. Was a bit of a challenge to tie in the band in to a sleeve, without covering it up. The inside of the arm will be the Irish side, and if you look closely you catch glimpses of "Irish" the band that I added. Should be a fun sleeve to work on and complete. Still a lot to go and rework some stuff as well as cover other older tattoos up.

Indian maiden, with slight references to his wife.

Washed out picture a bit, but what else is new right? Anyways, we went for about 6 1/2 hours on this session and I got the wolf done. I have to say I'm pretty happy with how this wolf turned out. Super fun to just kinda cruise through on and get lost in the tattoo itself.

Did this piece on Walt. A good client that I had the pleasure of tattooing a few months ago on his other arm. I met him up here at the Blue Lake Tattoo Expo, and he had mentioned he wanted a eagle, well here you have it. Color to come in a week or so.

Been painting quite a bit as of late. And I must say I'm really enjoying it. This piece was a fun one to do. Done in water color and is 11"x30". Not sure if I want to sell it quite yet, but if someone is interested, let me know.

Thought I'd share a quick little painting I finished the other day. Someone come and get this tattooed!

Fun little jammer's on a very fun client. He wanted to horse shoe's on right side up and one upside down. I was told that his nickname is "lucky" but not in the good sense as he seems to have bad luck. These tattoos represent that to him. Either way I had some fun doing these tattoos.

Stacie's back and pluggin' along nicely. finished up the rocks and a few of the flowers next is to finish the other flowers and on to some of the feathers. Should be a longer session next time, but she was promoted at her job and has had to move so, we'll be slowing down a bit for the next couple of months or so but with big projects like this some situation's are bound to arise. Either way always a fun time and I'm really enjoying the color scheme.

A little (okay maybe more than a little) bit washed out. Hopefully he'll be coming in a few weeks to let me take a healed photo.

Color to go on this guy. I really enjoy doing cover-ups so long as the client will allow me to do what I know will work. Should be smooth sailing here on out.

Cover-up of an eagle with yet another eagle. Super fun tattoo!

A fly for Faith. She picked this on off my "Pork Chop" sheet. Had a lot of fun tattooing this little jammer and the conversation was just plain awesome! She is a good friend of John here at the shop and it was just a very pleasant time working on her. Thanks again Faith!
